Absolutely the best BBQ in Lexington, and in the running for best BBQ in the Midlands. My Fellow Foodies - this right here…I’ve been seeing a few reviews for this spot so I just had to come check it out. This HAS to be some of the BEST BBQ I’ve had. The brisket was top tier in every way - the crust, the tenderness, it was perfection. Hash & rice was to DIE for without a doubt and all of the sides had plenty of love. 100% recommended.

Really good BBQ sandwich. I had the yellow sauce. Also had the brisket it was solid. Some of the best I've had outside of TX or STL. Mac and cheese was ok and I felt like the hash was a little bland. Would have liked more pop. Maybe add some of the yellow sauce to it. All the sauces and meats were great!!

Delicious brisket sandwich! Smoked chicken sandwich is wonderful as well. A perfect stop if you’re hungry but don’t want to wait a long time for a tasty meal

Made a trip for an after church lunch and picked up the ribs, hash, and collards. Ribs were very tender and had a good flavor without adding any of the four sauces to them (sweet red, Alabama sauce, vinegar, and a mustard sauce). Hash is still a new food option for me so I can't effectively evaluate how it was, however, I will say I did think it had a good flavor and it's something I would get again although probably cut it on rice next time. On the inside of the restaurant there is only four tables and can seat about 10 people maybe at the most. There is some outdoor seating as well. If you're okay with that. You can also order from Boho next door and they'll bring it over if you'd rather eat at that location instead. This restaurant is a little bit out of my way so I don't know how often I'll come back, but my lack of attendance won't be due to the quality of the food which I thought was just fine.

I’ve eaten here a few times, both dine-in and to-go, and it is excellent in my opinion. It’s my go-to place for ribs now, as I had been looking for one since Fatz closed down. It also has the best homemade style mac and cheese I’ve had at a restaurant. Coleslaw is good too. They also have multiple sauce options for the meats, which I like. Service has always been great. The one thing to note is the building is quite small, not a lot of seating. I’d say max party of 4 for dine-in.

It's a small mom and pop place with great service and great food! I had the smoked wings, mac and cheese, and brisket baked beans. Everything was full of flavor and served hot and fresh!

This was my first time there, we ate inside, it wasn't busy, even tho the parking lot looked full, we almost didn't stop..Thank God we did stop!! The service, the sweetest lady (Johnsey) she knew the menu like the back of her hand, superb waitress!! Sandra was a delite to chat with. Both ladies were so kind and had the most beautiful spirit. Now let's talk about the food! We had the babyback ribs with Mac n cheese and brisket baked beans, ribs were perfect, falling off the bone, delicious, didn't even need sauce. Baked beans tickled the taste buds, not from a can! Mac n cheese was excellent!! We also had smoked chicken wings with greenbeans and mashed taters. Smoked chicken wings were good, I was low-key, a little sad because they don't have French fries right now, but they will in the future. So mashed taters it was,to my surprise they weren't instant!! Green beans were the flat kind, a lot of flavor!! Overall, we were really happy and will become regulars of Granny's and Papaws.

My dad and I stopped here for the first time on July 4th. Thankfully we were in the middle of the day so it was not that busy. The food was so good that I am sure they stay busy. We both opted for the ribs. They were very good. Tender, but not falling all over the place. They were very well seasoned. Sauce is optional. They were a tad bit dry, but so delicious. I also go the green beans, which were phenomenal! Honestly the best green beans I've had in a long time. We both had the baked beans, which were also excellent! It was a great dining experience and we will certainly be back. Please note that indoor seating is pretty limited and there is some outdoor seating also, but I wouldn't want to sit out there this time of year. All food comes in to go boxes so easy to carry out if you prefer. It is just a simple little joint with excellent food and friendly staff. Definitely check it out.
